An artificial intelligence version of a US pastor has been developed to assist churchgoers in his absence. Friendship Missionary Baptist Church’s “Rev. Justin Lester” used his books, sermons, social media posts, and other creations to create an AI “digital doppelgänger.”. When Lester is not present or when she is “too embarrassed to ask him” a question, churchgoer Breanah Drake said she uses the system.
Using information from Lester’s teachings, the AI pastor can address private inquiries. It responded, “It’s not good for a man to be alone,” when asked about loneliness. Scripture and truth are both applicable to you at this moment. Being alone does not equate to weakness. It’s a sign that a connection was meant for you.
I want you to do this today. Speak with one person. According to Rev. Lester, the system is updated “every single day” as he grows as a pastor. He claimed that AI was freeing him up to devote more time to pastoral work, such as hospital visits, while cutting down on regular administrative duties.
Rev said, “I didn’t go to school to email.” ‘”. Lester stated. However,” he doesn’t think AI can take the place of a pastor. “Oh no, no, no, no, no. AI can’t feel, he said. Additionally, the system is protected.
“It is limited to topics Lester has covered, and the reaction “That’s too much for me” is triggered by major problems like abuse or suicide. Speak with the pastor
